Reality capture technology is a powerful tool that can help us build a better world. But a technology’s benefit only goes as far as the human relationships we make within the communities we serve.
We created DroneDeploy.org with the belief that improving the environments in which we live and work starts with gaining a better understanding.
Our social impact program engages with schools, nonprofits, and disaster response teams so that they can apply reality capture technology to their mission-critical work, and help those who need it most.

DroneDeploy.org offers an immersive curriculum that trains students on all facets of reality capture – everything from comparing field maps to planning missions to experimenting with remote sensing and automation.

Nonprofit work is core to our mission: our three founders initially started DroneDeploy so that park rangers could better protect endangered wildlife in South Africa’s Kruger National Park. Since then, nonprofits around the world have used DroneDeploy to capture critical geographical context.
